Q Station North Dakota
Q Station recently announced it is expanding operations to North Dakota thanks to a $4 million appropriation secured by Sen. John Hoeven, R-ND, in the 2026 Defense Appropriations Act. Q Station will use its proven innovation model to help grow the region’s UAS ecosystem, similar to the work it’s done to advance New Mexico’s space ecosystem.

The expansion marks a significant step in Q Station’s strategy to build interconnected innovation hubs aligned with national defense priorities. By replicating our collaborative approach, Q Station will support startup acceleration, facilitate industry–military matchmaking, and help companies navigate pathways to federal partnership and technology transition.

We will also provide programming for startups and others in the UAS ecosystem at The Hive in downtown Grand Forks. The Hive is a collaboration facility similar to Q Station’s facility in Albuquerque and is run by GrandSky Technology Park.

Stay tuned for additional details in the coming weeks!
